Every release makes it hard on everyone upgrading to the latest Firefox release. Extension developers are submitting their updates and then get a long wait from the mass trying to get by at last the minute. I imagine it is hard on the extension verifiers at Mozilla trying to get all the new submissions that come in at once checked as quickly as they'd like to keep everything running smooth, but I'd say it is probably must frustrating for users. The users try to update to the latest Firefox, only to find that their favorite extensions are yet to be upgraded to be compatible, and that is truly a pain.. it makes also it hard to downgrade, too, because Firefox disables the incompatible extensions, and when you have 60+ extensions such as I do then it gets really annoying to have to manually enable them again. So, extension developers, why don't you try to start working on making them compatible, now... All you have to do is download a portable version of Bon Echo and start testing your extension(s) right now with no problems at all. I'm sure most of you will only need to bump the maxVersion, anyway, but it is always better/safe to check first.
